Throughout the market we put on a jam-packed programme of entertainment. In previous years, festive shoppers have enjoyed everything from talented local musicians, brass bands and a cappella, to gospel choirs and street theatre.
In addition, Bath Abbey hosts a full programme of Christmas services, including their special one-of-a-kind ‘shoppers’ services.
2016 Entertainment Highlights
The Natural Theatre Company were out in full swing, merrily making their way through the Market in all their festive glory; we also welcomed the enchantingly-illuminated stilt walking Ice Prince and Princess.
We enjoyed perfomances from Bristol-based gospel choir, Renewal, by arrangment of Bath Festivals, and a selection of University Choirs, performing arts students from local colleges, and students from Norland College, who all joined us to sing Christmas carols.
As we know, children love Christmas and the jolly Christmas classics they get to sing, so we were delighted to welcome a number of local Primary Schools, who sang all our festive favourites.
If you’d like to get involved in 2017, we’d love to hear from you.
