Make the most of your visit...
Check out our Bath Christmas Market top tips to ensure you make the most of your visit in 2016!
Timing is everything…
Weekends and lunchtimes can be busy and bustling. Weekday evenings and mornings are a great time to visit if you prefer a more relaxed experience with plenty of time for browsing.
Wrap up warm…
Make sure your clothing is suitable for the Christmas market – there is nothing worse than being cold on your day out. The whole market is outdoors, so you will need warm clothing. Some of the site is on cobbled areas, and although very pretty, this is not the best place to show off your new heels.
Travel by train, bus or coach
With a number of popular events happening in the city, as well as an increase in people shopping at this time of year, the roads and car parks can be busy. Travel by train, bus or coach where possible – this will also allow you to take advantage of the warming mulled wine on offer. If you prefer to drive, take advantage of the city’s fast and reliable Park & Ride services, which will drop you straight into the city centre in 10 minutes.
