Bath Rugby Foundation is Bath Rugby’s charity, and combines education, sport, health and wellbeing, and a sense of belonging and community to empower vulnerable children and young people to succeed.
They believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to reach their full potential, and those who have had the toughest start in life should not be defined by this. Their programmes are designed to meet the needs of the most marginalised, are fully inclusive and use sport as a vehicle. They enable young people to acquire skills, gain qualifications, develop a growth-mindset and be challenged in a non-threatening environment.
As such, Bath Rugby Foundation provides a safe space where children and young people feel a sense of security and belonging. Their ultimate aim is to support vulnerable young people, enabling them to thrive and become productive members of the community – mentally and physcially more resilient and healthier, in gainful employment, back into education or apprenticeships.
They do not receive any central funding, with all revenue raised through grants, events, donations and community fundraising.
