Bath Christmas Market is located throughout the city centre of Bath, spanning from Abbeygate Street in the south to Milsom Street in the North. Whilst Bath Christmas Market does not have a specific location, our central point is: Stall Street, Bath, BA1 1QH.
PLEASE NOTE: Road closures are in place throughout the event and no unauthorised vehicles are permitted on site. We are lucky to be within walking distance of the train station, central bus routes (including Park and Ride services) and many of Bath’s city centre car parks. The city centre can get very busy during the festive period so we recommend making use of public transport or park and ride services where possible. Please see the information below on how to get here.
Park and Ride Services in Bath
Bath is well served by three Park & Ride services that run every 15 minutes, seven days a week. The Park & Ride stations are located at Odd Down (South of Bath), Newbridge (West of Bath), and Lansdown (North of Bath).
Bath's Park & Ride will be running additional services during the market during the following times.
Monday to Saturday: Every five minutes from 9:30am to 8:30pm
Sunday: Every five minutes from 9:30am to 6pm
Travelling by Train
Bath Spa train station is located in the centre of Bath, only a short walk from the Market and the city’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. There are regular train services from London Paddington and London Waterloo. Bristol Temple Meads is just 15 minutes away by train and is a major hub for national rail travel, including links to South Wales and the North.
Travelling by Bus
Several bus operators provide services in and around Bath. First West of England is the largest, operating from the bus station in Dorchester Street, by Bath Spa train station.
Travelling around Bath by bus is easy with a number of routes from the centre to the city’s outer areas.

You can also purchase a BathRider ticket, a multi-operator ticket that gives you virtually unlimited travel on buses in the Bath urban area.
Travelling by Car
Bath is just 10 miles from junction 18 of the M4 motorway, which runs directly from London and Heathrow Airport. There are also excellent motorway links from the North and Devon and Cornwall via the M5 motorway, whilst Wales is just a short drive west on the M4.

There is also a range of on-street parking options however be mindful that some areas are reserved for permit-holders. If you're driving in, we really do recommend taking the Park and Ride to avoid the traffic!
Travelling by Coach
Our dedicated coach drop-off and pick-up zone is situated on Royal Avenue, close to the famous Royal Crescent and Bath on Ice. This is a 10-minute walk from Milsom Street, the northern zone of the market. There are dedicated toilets facilities, including an accessible toilet, available for visitors.
Please note, this is downhill on the way into the Bath however there is a slight incline on the way back. The coach parking is 15 minutes from the furthest point of the market.
For coach travel directly to Bath from various destinations across the UK, make sure to check in with your local coach providers to see if they're running any trips!
Note for coach operators: Please be informed that this is the ONLY drop-off and pick-up location for any trips to Bath City Centre during the Christmas Market.
Clean Air Zone
Bath’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is now operational to help provide a cleaner and healthier city. Not all vehicles are charged.
Please check whether your vehicle will be charged in Bath's Clean Air Zone and pay the charge. All you need is your vehicle registration number.
Accessible parking
Most of Bath's car parks have Blue Badge parking bays, and there are a lot of on-street Blue Badge spaces near the Market.

We welcome cyclists wishing to visit Bath. There are plenty of places to park your bike around the city centre including under the arch by Bath Spa Railway Station.

Parking your motorcycle in designated on-street locations is free, however maximum stay restrictions still apply. There is also a number of motorcycle spaces on Saracen Street, BA1 5BR, as well as Trim Bridge, BA1 1HD.
