When is the Bath Christmas Market?

Bath Christmas Market 2018 is open from 22nd November–9th December.

What are the opening times?

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 10am–7pm
Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10am–8:30pm
Sunday: 10am–6pm

When is the best time to visit?

Weekends and lunchtimes can be busy and bustling. Weekday evenings and mornings are a great time to visit if you prefer a more relaxed experience with plenty of time for browsing.

Do the stallholders accept card?

Although many stallholders provide chip and pin machines, some of them take cash only. Please come prepared with plenty of money for quick and easy purchases.

Where are the nearest cash points?

  • Natwest on Stall Street
  • Outside the newsagents on Terrace Walk
  • Inside Marks & Spencer’s food hall
  • Outside Santander on Bath Street

Is Bath Christmas Market accessible?

We are committed to ensuring, so far as reasonably possible, that Bath Christmas Market is accessible to everyone wishing to attend. The main areas of the event site can be accessed via drop curbs, which are permanent features of the city centre.  An accessible toilet facility is also made available.  Click here for more information on visiting Bath if you have accessibility issues.

How do I get to Bath Christmas Market?

Do I need a ticket?

No, the Bath Christmas Market is not a ticketed event and anyone can come and enjoy the atmosphere and browse for Christmas gifts.

Can I bring my dog?

Although we don’t prohibit you bringing your dog, we wouldn’t recommend it. The Market can get busy, especially at weekends, and it may not be a comfortable experience for your dog.

Where are the toilets?

The toilets are located on Terrace Walk (known by the locals as Bog Island) and Swallow Street which are both very close to the Market.

Where is Bath Christmas Market located?

The Market is an outdoor market set in the beautiful Georgian streets in the centre of Bath. It is located close to Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths and Thermae Bath Spa. With over 200 chalets the Market has expanded for 2017 and has spread further around the city into Southgate Street, Union Street and Hot Bath Street. You’ll be able to download the Market Map shortly.
