The Telegraph’s best British Christmas Market

We were so pleased to be named The Telegraph’s Best Market in their 2019 rundown of all top British Christmas Markets. Over 80% of our chalets are from Bath and the South West, so we’re proud to be a distinctly local Market as well as a British one.

“This is a bumper market with 170 stalls lining the streets of Bath around the wonderful Roman Baths and the Abbey. Nearly all the items and produce on sale are from the local area, or made by local suppliers, many of whom are here for the first time this year. Ceramics and glassware, clothes, toys and homeware are among the items on sale – as well as food and drink.”

We were proud to be named as the Event of the Year at the National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA) 2017 ceremony, held at Bath’s historic Pump Room. NOEA champion the most creative, inspirational and globally renowned events, so we were delighted to be recognised.

“This event is the best of Bath, well-produced and internationally attractive, setting standards for other Christmas markets.”

Bath Life Award 2017

We were excited to win the title of Best Event at the prestigious Bath Life Awards.

Bath Business Improvement District Business Awards 2019

We were delighted to be awarded the Bath BID’s Prosperous Award, for being an initiative that has led to a significant improvement in business results or has helped others achieve success. Bath BID also named Bath Christmas Market the Bath BID Awards Champion for 2019.

“The winners are a team that liaises extensively across the city, working sensitively and efficiently around the different challenges they face. Many of the obstacles are not of their own making. Their work impacts pretty much everyone in the city and the team gets a lot of feedback. They are open, listen hard, they communicate, they analyse the feedback and develop the product further each year, addressing the developing priorities. Overwhelmingly though, there is a positive impact across the city and for this, we want to recognise the team.”
